Athletics

At Vaalpark High School you can participate in various track and field items during the athletics season. This includes sprinting, medium distance and long distance running, hurdles, shot put, high jump, long jump, discus, javelin and much more. We believe that every learner should have the opportunity to participate, even if it is only within the closed environment of our school. To those learners who excel, we offer guidance and proper coaching to participate at a much higher level. We are proud to say that we have produced provincial as well as national athletes in the past.
